Fast Fobs look to be the Fast 5 team to beat this season

The Fast Fobs recorded their third successive win in the Fast 5 mixed netball
competition on Tuesday night and are looking to be the team to beat this season.

After three rounds of the Fast 5 mixed
netball competition, Fast Fobs are proving
they are the team to beat this season.
The Fobs continued their unbeaten run with
their third successive win on Tuesday night
over the 2 Fast 2 Furious young gun side,
24-15.
Fobs’ accurate shooting, particularly in their
Power Play quarter where they scored 10
points, is their strength.
And while the 2 Fast 2 Furious side also
scored 10 points in their nominated Power Play
third quarter, their poor shooting record in their
other three quarters let them down.
The game’s Favourite Fivers (as picked by
the opposition) were Philipa Paul (Fobs) and
Molly Carter (2 Fast 2 Furious).
Last season’s reigning premiers, Why Did
We Say Yes? (WDWSY?) got their first run of
the season on Tuesday after having a bye and a
forfeit over the past two weeks.
They came up against tough opposition in
KML who took control of the match from the
outset and finished with a 27-18 win.
KML were well served by Ethan McLeod
playing at Centre along with their shooters,
Jaxon Burke and Mia McLeod.
Jaxon (KML) and Casey Piggott (WDWSY?)were the game’s Favourite Fivers.
All Class showed they were all class posting
a 24-4 win over the depleted Cynsteel Warriors
team in their round 3 meeting.
All Class constantly outplayed Cynsteel in
both attack and also defence, keeping them
scoreless in two quarters.
The game’s Favourite Fivers players were
Zac Broughton (Cynsteel) and Ben McBride
(All Class).
