Polyfabrications Golf Day was a family affair

It was a family affair when golfers lined up for the Polyfabrications Day Three Person Ambrose event on Saturday. The Frasers, Alec, George and Stewart, teamed up to win the men’s event at the Polyfabrications Golf Day on Saturday.

The Frasers won the Three Person Ambrose competition ahead of the team of Darryn Lord, Greg Read and Alan Knight.

In third place were Paul Kershaw, Larry Brydon and Ray Yench with the Nyngan team of Anthony Ah-see, Les Dorrington and Corin Ah-see in fourth place.

Nearest the pins shots were recorded on the 3rd hole by Max Phillips, on the 7th by Garry Wilkin, Stewart Fraser won the 8th and the prize on the 15th went to Jim Goonrey.

There was a good roll up for Sunday’s Stableford with Geoff Dunne finishing as the winner over Max Phillips with Bayley Prendergast in third place.

Dunne won the nearest the pin prize on the 8th hole; Max Phillips took the prize on the 3rd and Glen Ratcliffe won the 11th.

This Saturday’s game is a Stroke and there is no game scheduled for Sunday due to the ladies’ Rosebowl competition.
