Only two brave souls fronted up to golf on Wednesday with the other regular mid-week players opting for the warmth of a cosy fire instead.

As such, no competition game was played.

A big week of golf kicks off with a flag event today.

Then it’s ‘Hippie Night’ on Friday as the lady golfers meet and greet visitors from Western Districts here for the weekend competitions.

Saturday’s Canadian game, sponsored by Peak NewGold, will have the special tee off time of 11am to cater for the large field anticipated.

The Far West RoseBowl is to be played on Sunday over 18 holes and, with 70+ nominations already in, will surely be a great tournament. The individual tee off times will be posted on the golfers’ notice board this week so all golfers will be aware what time they are expected on the tee box for continuous play. Fingers crossed for good weather!—T’d Off
