Four Cobar Clay Target Club members, Matt Schiller (from Young), club president Bryan Manns, Matt Stokes (Bourkelands) and Wayde Hawkins (Bega) pictured above, featured in the 16th International Clay Target Shooting Federation (ICTSF) World Down The Line Championships in New Zealand. The Cobar shooters were among 493 competitors from more than 10 countries competing at the ICTSF Championships three day shoot hosted by the Canterbury Club in Christchurch from March 15-17. Schiller, Manns and Stokes were part of the five man Australian Open A Team that finished third in the world event and Hawkins won Gold in the Super Vets Over 65 years A Team. In the Overall High, Stokes finished 4th with a score of 890 (the winner had 892), Schiller was 9th with 886 and Manns finished among the top 10 percent. Photo contributed
