The Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool has new starting blocks delivered through the Community Building Partnership Program 2025, which supports community infrastructure projects that create positive social, environmental and recreational outcomes. Cobar Swimming Club’s swimmers were coached on how to use the new blocks before their weekly competition last Wednesday. The $36,000 project was jointly funded by the NSW Government in partnership with Cobar Shire Council. Council has also outlaid $31,000 for new solar pool covers.
