Fun Run supports Batyr’s local program

The Cobar Athletics and Triathlon Squad (CATS) hosted a Fun Run on Sunday to raise awareness, as well as funds, for Batyr, a  not-for-profit organisation which aims to raise awareness and break the stigma of mental illness. The Fun Run was well attended, with 54 people signing up on the morning to complete the 5.5km run or walk. Competitors were of all ages, running, walking, pushing prams, riding their bikes and walking their dogs. The winners of the day were Scott Brown (First male), Joanna Strahl (First female) and Chad Buckman (First Junior).
