CATS have had a near purr-fect start in new touch comp

The CATS, a new team in the Open Mixed Touch competition, have made a pretty good start to the season recording their second win last week. They showed plenty of skill and pace in their match on Thursday night beating Urban Strength 20-1.

Maddie Bruce contributed eight points to the CATS’ winning tally of 20 points in their win in the Opens Mixed Touch competition on Thursday night at Ward Oval.

The CATS were too good for Urban Strength winning their Round 3 game last week 20-1.

Bruce scored four times (female tries are worth double points) with Jayden Paul (2), Harry Cousins (2), Ashley Cousins, Axel Fairfull, Clayton Louis, Mel Mills, Sam Best and Seb Best CATS’ other scorers.

Jayden Cryer was Urban Strength’s lone try scorer.
