Working hard at Careers Expo

Cobar High School’s Multi Purpose Centre was a hive of activity yesterday for the school’s Careers Expo with students able to gain lots of first hand information about a wide range of careers. There were 39 exhibitors this year and included the CSA and Hera mines, Cobar Shire Council, police, fire brigade, TAFE, Community Health, Interrelate, Cobar Dentists, Regional Australia Bank, and the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club just to name a few. Pictured above are students Kody Ford, Tommy Rogers, Ted Smith and Jacob Clark with JKM Dynamic Fitness instructor Corinne McLeod who was handing out free gym t-shirts and singlets to any students who would do a plank.
