The calibre of swimmers coming through Cobar High School continues to improve year on year with three new school records, set at this year’s annual swimming carnival.

One of those records was a long standing record set in 2010 by one of the best swimmers to come out of Cobar, Georgia Baker.

Isabelle Gillette eclipsed Georgia’s Under 13 girls 50m Freestyle record with a new time of 32.02.

Georgia’s previous record was 32.86.

Henry Knight set two new records at the annual swimming carnival last Monday.

He broke his own 17+ 50m Butterfly record that he’d set last year. His new record is 28.74.

(Henry’s previous time was 28.96).
