There was plenty of competition for the Cobar Auto Club Flat track event on Saturday with 44 riders taking part.

The locals matched it with riders from Temora, Griffith, Euabalong, Gilgandra, Narromine and Bathurst on a well prepared track that brought no complaints about dust from riders.

With five rounds of four laps for each class, there was plenty of riding to be had throughout the night.

One of the best competitions of the night was between Zach Snudden and Blake Fairey, who were always wheel to wheel and challenging each other in their 65cc and 85cc 9-U12 years classes. Zach finished ahead of Blake in both with Bella Fullagar 3rd in the 65cc class and Molly Fairey finished 3rd in the 85cc class.

Other juniors Dylan Boland and Conor Paivinen also had a good contest in the Junior Lites class with Dylan narrowly winning from Connor with Caitlin Norris 3rd.

In the 50cc High Power class Billy George won from Riley Smith with Cohan Nicholson 3rd; 65cc 7-9 years—1st Clay McDonald, 2nd Blaire Drady and 3rd Billy George; 85cc 12-U16 years—1st Josh Scott, 2nd Kye Cronin and 3rd Kaeleb Saunders; Junior Ladies—
1st Caitlin Norris; Senior Lites—1st Joel Mawhinney, 2nd Dean Noriss and 3rd Jason Drady; Senior Opens—1st Edward Grabham, 2nd Ryan New and 3rd Dion Fitzsimmons; All Powers—1st Edward Grabham, 2nd Lawrence Fairey and 3rd Todd Negfeldt; Senior Ladies—1st Jayde George.

There was also some good racing in the Greybeards Over 35 years class with Lawrence Fairey just getting the better of Wayne Blenkiron, who finished second and Dion Fitzsimmons was back in third place.
