Roosters strut off with a 50-0 win over Warren in Round 1

The Cobar Roosters started their 2025 campaign in the Christie and Hood Castlereagh Rugby League competition in fine style by providing the Warren Bulldogs with a reality check in their game played at Warren’s Victoria Park on Saturday.

The Roosters had the game well and truly sewn up at half time with a 34-0 lead and, while the home side slowed the score board down in the second half, the visitors strutted from the field at the end of the match with a 50-0 win under their belts.

Tim Hillam crossed twice for the Roosters,  with Kai Taylor, Jack Brown, Kai Greenwood, Oisin McMullen, Chris Crotty and Lochlan Ford also scoring tries.
