The Cobar Roosterettes were soundly
beaten by Baradine at Baradine on Saturday
in Round 2 of the Castlereagh League
Tag competition.
Missing a number of key players, including
their captain/coach Bianka Jacobson, the

Led by their playmaker Maria Nagy, who
scored three tries and kicked seven goals, the
Baradine side easily accounted for the
Roosterettes 42-6.
Cobar’s points came from a try by Kayla
Hassan which was converted by Brianna
Watson.
In the other games played in the competition
on Saturday, Coonamble defeated Gilgandra
48-30 in a high scoring game and
Coonabarabran accounted for Gulgong 20-6.
Dunedoo had the bye.
Cobar will take on Coonabarabran at home
this Saturday in Round 3.
