Prep work for junior season

Rugby League Academy (RLA) coaching staff Matt Lantry and Laurie Clifton visited Cobar over the weekend to work with Cobar Junior Rugby League Club’s coaches and players. Saturday morning’s session with the team coaches followed up on ideas and experience that the Cobar coaches had previously picked up from attending an annual coaching conference at the end of last year. Cobar Junior Rugby League president Simone Knight said the club has been doing some work on creating a better club culture and invited the RLA coaches to Cobar in an effort to assist their club coaches to better develop their players. Players attended their own RLA coaching session on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday the RLA coaches worked with both the players and coaches to demonstrate some new team drills.
