Local engineering firm KML Industries celebrated the huge milestone of 30 years in business on Friday at their workshop in Hartman Street. A large group of family, friends and former workmates “crashed” the KML Christmas party to surprise business owner Michael Prince and congratulate him on his 30 years in business. Among the speakers, long serving employee of 21 years Ben Bottom said KML was like “a big family” and he “couldn’t find a better place to work”. Michael praised all his workers saying he wouldn’t be where he is today without them. He also acknowledged the support he received from his family over the past 30 years.
