Ideal conditions for shooters with great clay target scores

Sunday’s sunny conditions were ideal for Cobar Clay Target shooters at the club’s monthly shoot with a number achieving the highest possible scores.

Two juniors joined the members as 11 shooters took part in the four event program.

In the first event, a 20 Target Double Barrel shoot, Tony Polack (A Grade), Brad Kendrick and Ben Tranter (both B Grade) all managed a possible 20/20 score.

Trudi Tulloh was the top C Grade shooter with 17/20.

Event  two for the day was a 30 Target Single Barrel which saw Polack again take the win with 28/30.

Tranter emerged on top again in B Grade 23/30 and Tulloh was again victorious in C Grade with 26/30.  Blake Dunne (with 29/30) took out the top spot in the third event of the day, a 30 Target Handicap Event, with Kendrick and Tulloh hot on his heels.

The final event of the day was a 20 Target Continental shoot with Polack and Dick Tulloh both shooting a possible 20/20 to share first place in A Grade.

Jarrod Barraclough took out B Grade with 19/20 and Nelson Hearn was the C Grade winner with 14/20.
