It was Ladies Day at the Cobar Rugby Club on Saturday at Ailsa Fitzsimmons Memorial Oval and shine the Cobar Ladies did with the Cobar Bactrians women’s rugby team scoring a fantastic 3-2 win over the visiting Gulargambone ladies side. Sally Schintler, Nichola Heagney and Stevie Toomey were their try scorers with the Coach’s Best & Fairest points going to Brooke Daly (3), Tori Thomas (2) and Stevie Toomey (1). Taylah Good (pictured above with the ball) was named the Bactrians Players’ Player, and Good suggested that after such a great game, “the whole team should get Players’ Player”.
