It is with regret, due to the Coronavirus, that all Cobar ladies golf competition games have been cancelled until further notice, including Cobar’s staging of the Far West Rose Bowl that was set down for July.
NSW Golf have been updating their website regularly and local golfers are advised that social golf is now also off the cards after government regulations called for the closure of golf courses on Monday night.
Before courses were closed, a few ladies were on hand over the weekend enjoying a social game while adhering to the social distancing rules.
There were twice as many men golfers enjoying a hit as well as a number of social golfers plus a lot of non-social distancing flies!
We can only hope that this will all come to an end soon and pray that common sense will prevail in these trying times and we can all get back to ‘normal’ everyday activities in good health.
