Cliffhanger event again proves popular

The 2017 Cliffhanger 4WD event took place near Mt Gap, north west of Cobar last week. The 16 crews were faced with 100km creek runs, sand walls, winching stages and incorporated skill in both navigation and speed. The 2017 event incorporated both day and night events and the participants reported fine blue-sky days with chilly nights. This year’s winner was car number 11, Dobinson Performance, with driver Olly Crews and navigator Ashley Quirk. The pair finished with an overall score of 2,738.
