Local residents Peter Abbott and Peter Hausler (at left) along with Lorraine Williams and Rachael Davis Manns (at far right) joined members of the local State Emergency Services unit, Gordon Hill, Helen Boddy, Lou Smalbil and Bridgette Jones for the Wear Orange Wednesday (WOW) awareness day last Wednesday. WOW gives members of the public an opportunity to find out more about what the local SES unit does and also to thank them for their voluntary service to our community.
