Cobar Roosters Rugby League Club committee members Tia Turner, Mollie Harley
and Chris Deighton with the signed football jerseys, boots and a football that went
under the hammer at a charity auction on Saturday night. The auction raised $19,100
and, along with the proceeds from raffles, a 100 Club, the bar and barbecue, the day
raised more than $30,000. Deighton said they are just awaiting a couple of invoices to
finalise it all and then the profits will be donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
