Bar has been set at highest height

Cameron van Breugel has set the bar higher than any Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club member before him with a sensational result at last Tuesday’s weekly competition.
Blowing his competition out of the water, van Breugel finished the night with a com-bined time of just 0.06 seconds off his nominated time over three events.
This now makes him the front runner for this season’s Setts’ One Night Stand Award.
With two spot on swims to his nominated times in the 30 metres and 100 metres handicapped freestyle events and a 0.06 seconds finish in the 50 metres, van Breugel not only firmed as the favourite for the One Night Stand award, he’s also improved his standings for the 2020/2021 Club Championships as well.
Murray Harland was the only fly in van Breugel’s ointment last week to prevent him from making a clean sweep of the night.
Harland grabbed first place in the 50 metres handicapped freestyle swim with 0.03 seconds off his nominated time with van Breugel second on 0.06 and Matt Harland was third on 0.13.
David Mexted, with 0.06 finished second to van Breugel in the 30 metres event with Mur-ray Harland third on 0.12.
In the 100m, van Breugel was chased by Tyler Roberts who finished second on 0.16 and Bill Fugar was third 0.59
Fugar teamed up with Murray Harland to win the Brace Relay event which was to breaststroke across the pool. They were 0.69 seconds off their nominated time with Chris Powell and Matt Harland second (0.72) and Roberts and Mexted were third (0.85).
