A dozen hurdles records set at Little Athletics

Cobar Little Athletics Club’s record keepers
have been kept busy documenting the 12
new centre records set at last Monday night’s
competition.
With no previous centre records for these
hurdles events, the following athletes have set
the benchmarks on the board!
In the 90m Hurdles Under 14 Girls race,
Kasalia Fakahua set the record at 23.41 seconds.
In the 80m Hurdles races, Keelan Atuau set a
time of 21.56 sec for the Under 13s Boys,
Davey McKay recorded 21.20 sec in the Under
12s Boys and Delilah McBride is the Under 11
Girls record holder with a time of 21.48 sec.
In the 60m Hurdles events, Niklaus Flack-
Hogan ran a 13.13 sec in the Under 10 Boys
event and twin sister Avah Flack-Hogan
recorded a time of 13.83 sec for the Under 10
Girls.
In the Under 9 Boys, Ira Rambasa holds the
centre record with 13.32 sec and Max Nardi
owns the Under 8 Boys record with 13.89 sec.
The new 60m Mini Hurdles record holders
include: Under 7 Boys–Baxter Woods, 12.86
sec; Under 7 Girls–Tippi Evans, 14.23 sec;
Under 6 Boys–Max McKenna, 18.28 sec; and
Under 6 Girls–Matilda Rayner, 18.71 sec.
The Week 3 Stars of the Week were: Tiny
Tots–Beau Kershaw and Teddie Prisk; Under
6–Mackenzie Nicholson and Beau Medlin;
Under 7–Charlie McKay and Lucy Mainey;
Under 8–Harmony Harpley and Halle Egan;
Under 9– Marley Ryan and Ira Rambasa; Under
10–Seth Mackay and Savannah Nardi; and
Under 11 to Under 17–Davey McKay and
Kasalia Fakahua.
