A new mine of a different kind mooted for Cobar

A new mine is being mooted for the Cobar region with the AFD-listed Ruse Mining Company, today announcing an interest in establishing a mine 9km north west of Cobar.

A spokesperson for Ruse, Harle Quin, said their early optical testing has been encouraging and has revealed Erudite, a very rare substance, in nanoscopic amounts.

Mr Quin said Erudite is used extensively in a number of different industries in the production of left-handed screwdrivers, skyhooks, metric shifters, fresh air washers, blinker fluid, tartan paint, glass hammers and long weights.

“Many apprentices will come into contact with it in their first year of working,” Mr Quin said….
