The bottom line of Cobar Shire Council’s Draft Budget, expected to be put on public exhibition at tomorrow’s March Meeting, shows a deficit of $2.2 million.
Despite this being a substantial worsening of the situation, Council is not looking to increase rates above the rate pegging or cut services despite big increases in costs.
