Four Cobar Public School students competed in the CWA Far Western Public Speaking Competition last week in Bourke. Tilly Doll and Myah Paul competed in the Year 3/4 category. Tilly received a Highly Commended award for her speech, ‘What’s in the Box’ and Myah entertained the judges with her humorous speech about ‘What my dog was thinking’. In the Year 5/6 division, Isobel Willard gave an informative speech about robots and Addison Cull was presented with an encouragement award for her speech about rain. ▪ Photo contributed
