There was a small field of eight shooters for the Cobar Clay Target Club’s shoot on Sunday.
There were ideal shooting conditions for the three event program which also included after-noon tea.
In the opening event, the 20 Target Double Barrel, the best score was 19/20 recorded by James Manns to win AA Grade.
Brad Kendrick, Jim Manns and Dick Tulloh finished as equal winners in A Grade, all fin-ishing with scores of 19/20.
Luke Scales took out B Grade, only drop-ping two targets and Aiden Barraclough and Kirk Grogan tied in C Grade after each fin-ished with 13/20.
The 25 Target Single Barrel event proved a bit trickier for some with James Manns win-ning AA Grade with 19/25.
Jim Manns fared better in A Grade with 23/25 and Scales also had 23/25 to win B Grade.
Grogan had the win to himself in C Grade after recording the best score of 17/25.
Scales won the final event, the 30 Target Handicap with a score of 25/30.
A number of Cobar shooters competed a shoot at Cunnamulla over the weekend with pleasing results all round.
Peter Hosie won the AA Grade High Gun, Matt Harland was second in the A Grade High Gun and Garry Jones and Kevin Hatch shared second spot in the Veteran High Gun
