Aeris Resources (Tritton Mine) took a different approach to how they recruit staff and set up a career information tent in Drummond Park last Wednesday. Tritton’s manager of people and safety, Talan Breaden said they spoke to about 25 people including locals who have no previous mining experience along with seasoned Bogger and Jumbo Operators. “We have approximately five of them attending our upcoming Green Hat Truck Interview Day, so it just goes to show it’s never too late to consider a career in mining,” Talan said.
