Another ‘washed out Wednesday’ occurred last week with the Ladies Golf competition days reduced to the weekend matches only.

Fran Samios held off Jenny Stephenson and Fay Hardwick after countbacks in a tight finish, with all ladies posting 74 net.
Susan Goonrey and Daphne Cross both had 76 net, Karen Walsh 77 net and Angela Fryer 78 net.
Best with the short stick were Narelle Kriz and Sally Bannister who each recorded 23 putts over the 18 holes.
Sunday’s Par game was taken out by Daphne Cross with -1.
Hot on her heels were five players, Jenny Stephenson, Geraldine Francisco, Fay Hardwick, Marlene Wynd and Sue Phillips, all with -2.
Di Greer had -4 (and a Nearest the Pin win on the 11th hole for C grade) while Narelle Kriz came in with -5 and was the closest to the pin for A Grade.
Barb Barklimore won the Nearest the Pin competition in B Grade.
A Stableford game is on today with a Par set down for Saturday.
This Sunday the 27 hole Foursomes Championships will take place and ladies are advised to arrange their partners ASAP.
As COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease, NSW Golf has announced that two players are now able to ride in the same golf cart. Meetings can also have 20 people in attendance so Ladies Golf members are now permitted to attend.—T’d Off
