Cobar Clay Target Club’s annual Billy Manns Memorial Shoot was contested on Sunday in beautiful shooting conditions with a slight breeze prevailing.
John Taylor finished as the winner of the Billy Manns Memorial 30 Target Handicap Event with Matt Harland, Tony Holzigal and Garry Jones hot on his heels.
Taylor shot 29/30 to claim the win.
All up there was a field of 18 shooters, including visitors, for the three event program.
The first event was the 20 Target Double Barrel with Peter Hosie the winner of A Grade with a score of 19 out of 20.
Taylor won B Grade with 18/20 and the C Grade winner was Jason Mitchell with 19/20.
Hosie (24/25) once again was the A Grade winner of the 25 Target Single Barrel event.
James Mitchell won B Grade with a score of 22/25 and Matt Harland, with 23/25, was the C Grade winner.
The club’s next shoot is in December, which will be their Christmas shoot and their last event for 2018.
