The Rural Fire Service Far West Team has recently recognised the dedication and service of three of their long-serving members.
Barry Betts, who has marked an incredible 70 years of service with the Nymagee Brigade, including more than 60 years as Deputy Captain, was presented with his Life Membership plaque by his son and current Nymagee captain, David Betts.
Robert Vagg of the Irymple Brigade is one of the Far West Team’s oldest active members and has dedicated 70 years service to RFS.
His Life Membership plaque was a wonderful recognition of this longstanding commitment to the brigade and the community.
Craig Hudson was also recognised for almost 30 years of service to the Cubba Brigade.
Craig has served as the brigade’s Deputy Captain and Senior Deputy Captain for more than 25 years.
Following his move off his property and into town to live, the brigade recognised Craig’s contribution and his family’s legacy of service with a certificate of thanks.
