Pat Polock leads the field

Pat Polack was last Wednesday’s Ladies Golf Stableford winner with 34 points. 

Sally Bannister was the runner-up on 31 points and Di Greer finished up in third place with 30 points.

Greer also won a Nearest the Pin prize in B Grade on the 8th hole.

Fran Samios was the A Grade pin recipient and Elaine Burton won the C Grade Nearest the Pin competition.

Ann Dunn started a good weekend with a win in Saturday’s Stroke game posting a good score of 70 net.

Barb Barklimore was next with 72 net followed by Angela Fryer (73 net) and Julie Livingston with 74 net, was only marginally behind.

Narelle Kriz had a handy 23 putts for the day to win the putting competition.

Only five teams were on hand to contest the Canadian event on Sunday with the winners, Ann Dunn and Barb Barklimore, taking out the event with 72 net.

Robynne Morton and Narelle Kriz inched their way into second place (after a countback) with a score of 75½ nett.

Kriz also picked up both Nearest the Pin prizes that were on offer on the 8th and 15th holes.

Today is a Par game and on Saturday the BCD Projects sponsored Stableford will take place.

A change to the Ladies Golf program book has the Captain versus President’s Day game now moved to next month.

A two person Ambrose (draw for partner) game will take its place this Sunday.—T’d Off
