Young and some not so young golfers were out on the course on Sunday for the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club’s Come & Try Golf Day. Professional golfer Gary Beggs, who has been teaching golf for over 30 years, was on hand to give participants some golfing tips. Six primary and high school aged children and four adults looked at their swing patterns and learnt how to correctly address and hit the ball. They played a few chipping and putting games and then went on to play a five person ambrose event. All who attended said they thoroughly enjoyed the day.
