Three teams represented Cobar Public School at the Netball NSW Gala Day on Wednesday playing against Cobar St John’s, Nyngan and Bourke schools. Cobar Public School Team A (pictured above) were their pool winners and have progressed to the next round of the competition which will be played in Orange in August.

Bactrians are back to their best

The Bactrians ladies rugby team put on a great display at the Camels Gala Day on Saturday at Ailsa Fitzsimmons Memorial Oval recording a confident 7-3 win over the visiting Bourke/Brewarrina team. Saturday’s side was bolstered by some Bactrian veterans who, apart from one injury, pulled up pretty well.
