
Saturday night, Jayden Potts was named the Twenty/20 Player of the Year (and also scored the Most Runs this season) while Jake Harbison was the Best All-rounder and the Representative Cricketer of the Year.
The Cobar Senior Cricket Summer 2024/25 season presentations were held following the Twenty/20 grand final at Ward Oval on Saturday night.
The Steve Wetzel Memorial Cup for Best All-rounder of the season was presented to Jake Harbison.
Harbison also collected the John Potter Junior award as the Representative Cricketer of the Year.
The Paula Potter Memorial Award for Cricketer of the Year went to Nicola Harbison.
Ryan Urquhart collected the Tony Chalker Memorial Shield award as the Club Person of the Year.
The Harry Marshall Memorial Award for the Gentleman of Cricket was earned by Tom McKenna.
The Lionel Butler Memorial Trophy for under 24 player of the Year went to Anthony Mitchell.
The Back Door Bandits collected the Twenty/20 premiers trophy with Bandits’ Tristan Everett named the Player of the Grand Final and team mate Jayden Potts was the Twenty/20 Player of the Year.
Potts also scored the Most Runs this season.
Nicola Harbison claimed the Most Wickets of the season and she also had the Best Bowling Figures with 5/9 which she claimed in Cobar’s match against Gilgandra.
Mark Fraser, with 95, had the Highest Score of the season.
The Daddles the Duck Award for most ducks of the season was earned by Jay Egan.
