Two Soccer games conclude in exciting draws

Cobar Junior Soccer Club Mids players Montana Grentell (United), Phoebe Travis (Rovers), Kian Engelbrecht (United) and William Davis-Manns (Rovers) received the Cobar Hotbake and Gumnuts Milkshake awards after their game on Saturday at Ward Oval.

Four Cobar Junior Soccer Minis teams enthusiastically chased the ball around the field on Saturday morning at Ward Oval.
Callum Bennett and Jake McKervey were big scorers for Wanderers, while Indie Burke and Hayden Griffiths netted Rangers’ goals.
Oliver Neate and Indie Burke took home the Cobar Hotbake donut awards.
The Rovers versus United game was well played, ending in a 3-all tie.
Liam Peatey and Max Preisig earned the Gumnuts Milkshake awards.
Rovers and United played the first of the Mids games, with Rovers eventually winning 4-2.
United showed some good defensive tactics with goalie Mark Hibbert preventing a num-ber of balls from finding the back of the net.
In the second game Rangers narrowly pre-vailed over Liverpool with a final score of 3-2.
Nixon Small and Haylee Wyllie were awarded the Cobar Hotbake Donut vouchers, while Mya Duell and Cole Baraclough earnt the Gumnut Milkshake awards.
The Seniors game last week was entertain-ing as usual, with neither team dominating the game and at the final whistle the score was 4-all.
Isaac Theakston showed strong leadership skills for his Rangers team which earned him the Cobar Hotbake Donut award.
