Ken Dunne has a number of nice cars in his private collection including this rare 1929 Marquette which he entered in the Dustbowl Fuel Burners Show n Shine event on Saturday. Ken bought the lovingly restored Marquette about two years ago and has done a little bit more work to get it registered. It was recently used by friends as a wedding car. The Show n Shine winners were: Best Car—Ben Griffiths’ Torana; Best Bike—Trevor Palmer’s Harley Davidson; and People’s Choice—Cathy Francisco’s Volkswagen Kombi van.

Work is currently underway rebuilding major stormwater culverts crossing Cornish Street as part of Cobar Shire Council’s Industrial Estate Road and Stormwater Upgrade Project.
