After the final round of the regular competition in the Western Women’s Rugby League competition was played on the weekend, three of the Castlereagh Cougars sides will advance to the semi finals this weekend.
The Castlereagh Under 18s will play the Orange Vipers on Saturday in Bathurst while the Cougars Opens take on the Dubbo Goannas and their Under 12s will play the Vipers on Sunday at Wellington.
Lining up with the Under 18s will be Cobar players, Sarah Morley and Sophie Clark, who played both for the Cougars 16s and 18s sides against the Dubbo Goannas in Round 8 on Sunday at Wellington.
The Cougars unfortunately lost both games with the 18s beaten 36-18 and the 16s went down 54-12.
The Opens side, which contains a Cobar player, Sarah Johnson, narrowly lost their game to the Goannas 26-24.
All three Cobar players will be lining up for the Castlereagh Cougars in the semis games this weekend.
