Cobar Public School claimed a win of the Nyngbar Swimming Carnival shield last Friday with the Cobar swimmers coming out on top over Nyngan. From the carnival, CPS now has 13 students who have qualified for the Western Zone swimming carnival in Dubbo this Friday. Former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) superstar Chris ‘The Masterpiece’ Masters won the Eastern States wrestling title at the All-Star Wrestling Australia Winter Warfare show in Cobar last Thursday night at the Services Club. Masters also won a lot of Cobar fans including Maddox Best, Braxton Martin, Hannah and Cooper Trudgett.
