For the third consecutive week Paul Swainston recorded a spot-on time in the Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club competition.
Last Tuesday Swainston recorded 0.00 in the 50 metres freestyle handicapped swim to win from Matt Harland, who was second with 0.19 seconds off his nominated time and John Carswell finished third on 0.33.
There was a tie for first place in the 30m handicapped freestyle event with Cameron van Breugel and Bill Fugar both finishing within 0.03 seconds of their nominated times.
Andrew Watts was narrowly back in third place on 0.09 seconds.
Ben Plush won the 100m swim with a good time of 0.15 seconds off his nominated time.
In second spot was Doug Rourke 0.28 and Watts was once again third, with 0.41.
The Brace Relay novelty event was indeed novel and involved grown men dolphin diving across the little pool.
Carswell and Fugar showed the best technique and finished within 0.10 seconds of their nominated time to win the event.
In second spot were Stephen Clark and Watts (0.81) with Plush and Shane Josephson well back in third place on 2.51.
