A group of eight Cobar darts players competed at the Darts NSW Western Championships in Wellington over the weekend.
The Cobar Darts Association was well represented with great success recorded over the three days of competition.
Play kicked off on Friday night at the Federal Hotel with the Blind Drawn Doubles competition.
Cobar players featured in the final with Tony Brown and his blind drawn partner Dave Stace from Wellington finishing as the winners over Kylie Tiffen and her blind drawn partner Garth Watts from Wellington.
There was some great darts thrown on Saturday with Cobar players dominating the Men’s B Grade division.
Rod Coleman finished as the winner from Paul Cohen while Steve Motton took out the Men’s A Grade title.
On Sunday Kylie Tiffen won the ladies Doubles B Grade Division (with her partner) and Shane Haddy and Craig Jones teamed up to win the Men’s A Grade Doubles title.
Following their success on the weekend, Rod Coleman and Kylie Tiffen have both now been promoted to A Grade status.
