The Never Inbetweeners went on a scoring spree against a depleted Peakaroos team in the Indoor Mixed Soccer competition on Wednesday night at the youth centre.
With three goals by their star female player, Michela Cartner worth six points (female goals are worth two points each) and three goals also by Adam Buckman, along with two each to Marc Cummins and Robert Good and one goal apiece to Jason Foster, Jimmy Martin and Kody Martin, Never Inbetweeners gave Peakaroos a 16-0 hiding.
Cartner and Buckman were awarded the game’s Best and Fairest points.
Last week’s late game was also a high scoring match with Man Chest Hair United (MCHU) netting 10 points to CSA’s total of five.
Josh Brown had a big first half for MCHU slotting in four goals with Jade Buckman also adding four points to their total from two first half goals and then two more in the second half.
Alex Hernando added the extra two points with another goal to add to her mounting season tally.
Georgia Wilson netted two goals (four points) for CSA and Andre Rangel also found the back of the net for CSA.
MCHU’s Brown and Nicola Mathews shared the Best and Fairest honours.
