The Cobar Roosterettes trounced their Trangie opposition 62-4 in Round 10 of the Castlereagh ladies League Tag competition on Saturday at Trangie.
At the back end of last week the Cobar side was struggling for numbers but by Saturday morning they were sorted and travelled with a full side plus three reserves, which included returning Roosterettes, Laura Ah-See and Riley O’Leary.
Roosterettes co-coach Bianka Jacobson said the Cobar side played very well, in particular her players hit the holes whenever they be-came available which resulted in a number of tries and the team’s support play on Saturday was also outstanding.
Brianna Watson led the Roosterettes’ try scoring spree running in four tries with Bren-nah Aumua touching down three times.
Jacobson, Tyler Chiswick, Alexandra Cain, Kayla Hasson and O’Leary also crossed for a try each with Watson converting seven times.
Aisha Schofield had an outstanding game to collect her side’s Best and Fairest three points with Hasson picking up two points and Cain, who had a massive game in defence, earning one best and fairest point.
Hasson was named Players’ Player.
