Rodeo talent on display

Local photographer Klae McGuinness captured a lot of great photos at the Cobar Rodeo on Saturday afternoon including this one of Edward Ironside from Mendooran on ‘One Up, One Down’ in the Open Bull Ride, with the just-as-fearless bull fighters at the ready in the background to help out if needed in the most dangerous of all the rodeo events. This year’s rodeo had a great turn out of 90 competitors and a larger crowd of spectators than last year with estimates of more than 500 people passing through the gates this year to see all the action of the bull riding, Saddle Bronc, Steer Riding and Barrel Racing events. The results from the event are expected to be
