Clay Target Club’s monthly shoot well patronised

The Cobar Clay Target’s April monthly club shoot was well patronised on Sunday by 11 shooters who participated in a four event program.

A sunny day with no wind created the perfect conditions for some good shooting.

An enjoyable afternoon was had which included afternoon tea for shooters and guests.

In the first event of the day, the 20 Target Double Barrel shoot, Dick Tulloh had the best result with a possible (20/20) to win A Grade.

Robert Thompson won AA Grade with 19/20 and Brad Kendrick also recorded 19/20 to win B Grade.

There was a tie in C Grade with Todd Polack and Damian Wray both finishing with a score of 17/20.

Wray was once again involved in a tie in the 25 Target Single Barrel event when he finished equal first in C Grade with Luke Scales.

Both finished with 16/25.

Kendrick again won B Grade with 22/25 and Tony Polack had the best score in A Grade with 24/25.

The 30 Target Handicap Event was a close one that came down to four shooters: John Taylor, Brad Kendrick, Tony Polack and Dick Tulloh.

Kendrick eventually finished as the winner.

The final event of the day, a 10 Pair Double Rise shoot, saw another tie with Garry Jones and Tony Polack finishing equal 1st in A Grade with 17/20.

Taylor won B Grade with 15/20 and Todd Polack cleaned up the C Graders with a score of 14/20.
