Cobar Shire Council’s newly completed adventure playground in Drummond Park has been given a big tick of approval by local families. There was a large turn out of children and their parents along with council staff and councillors at the “unofficial” opening of the new playground area on Wednesday afternoon. The kids were thrilled to try out the new equipment which includes a flying fox, climbing nets with a fort, slides and swings as well as a disability spinner which all children can use. In addition to the new play equipment and landscaping, council has installed a new barbecue (which was also christened on Wednesday) and more seating.
