Round 2 of the Cobar Auto Club’s Copper City Tri Series Flat Track competition was held on Saturday with plenty of competition coming from riders across the central western area.
The track was in great condition for the 40 riders after the shower of rain on Friday night which helped to make for some very competitive racing.
Bathurst rider Edward Grabham was the man to catch having won both the Senior Opens and All Powers classes.
Temora competitor Ryan New was the runner-up in the Senior Opens division with local Todd Negfeldt third. Gilgandra’s Lawrence Fairey finished second to Grabham in the All Powers division with New taking third spot.
Fairey won the Grey Beards Over 35 class with Wayne Blenkiron (Dubbo) finishing second and Dion Fitzsimmons was third.
Jason Drady, in his first competition ride, won the Senior Lites class with Trent Fullagar second and Chris Billington placed third.
