Outback Warriors’ Matthew and Annalise Bellette are aiming to raise much needed funds for the Country Hope Trust on their upcoming Redneck Charity Cruise to Nymagee and Hermidale.
Having had a long time interest in cars and adventure, the Bellettes participated in the 2017 and 2018 Riverina Redneck Rallies.
“We had a VL Commodore down the back yard so we dragged that out and set it up for the rally and in two rallies it’s yet to let us down,” Annalise said.
The money raised from the rally goes toward the Country Hope Trust charity.
“Country Hope is a Riverina/Murray based organisation that offers support to children diagnosed with cancer and other chronic life threatening illnesses.
“They don’t receive government funding and this is why we decided to become a part of the fundraising champions to support Country Hope, who are the sole beneficiaries of all our fundraising efforts,” Annalise said.
The Bellettes are currently fundraising their $2,500 entry fee for the 2020 Riverina Redneck Rally and the proceeds of next month’s Charity Cruise will help them get there.
“The Redneck Charity Cruise is our major fundraising event and is open to any type of vehicle,” Annalise said.
The Cruise heads off from Cobar and will travel to Hermidale via Nymagee for an auction and barbecue lunch.
“It will be a family friendly day with prizes for Best Presented Redneck Car as well as Best Dressed Redneck,” Annalise said.
The Bellettes welcome any donations for Country Hope or sponsorship for their 2020 Redneck Rally attempt.
