President’s team comes out on top in ladies golf game

The Ladies’ Golf President versus Captain Stableford on Sunday was taken out by Narelle Kriz’s President’s team.

Kriz, along with Fay Hardwick, Marlene Wynd, Barb Barklimore, Karen Manns and Serena Fraser finished with a combined total of 191 points while Geraldine Francisco’s Captain’s team were close behind with 189 points.

Fraser was the individual winner on the day having 39 points with Daphne Cross (35) the runner-up followed by Marlene Wynd and Karen Manns on 34 points each.

Nearest the Pin winners on the 8th hole were Kriz and Brenda Fugar. The only C Grader playing on the day couldn’t quite stay on the fairway to collect a prize…Full report in this week’s edition of The Cobar Weekly out now!
