President’s Day bowls

The Cobar Bowling & Golf Club’s Ladies’ President’s Day Bowls event was held on Sunday with a field of 36 men and women bowlers taking part. Ladies bowls president Joy Josephson welcomed the 12 teams to the greens, among them was a team from Nyngan. The games were played in windy conditions with the team of Sandra Zazoniuk, Dave Portelli and Jack Tulloh (the team pictured above at right) finishing as the overall winners of the day. The runners-up were Doug Hudson, Kevin Kershaw and Marlene Wynd. The other players pictured above are Glenda Peebles, Neville Fisher and Daniel Holt.
