Police bros grow the Mos

The Cobar Police Whiskers, Lucas Hardy, Greg McKervey, Chris Power, Tony
Martin and Dwayne De Vries, are taking part in Movember, that time of the year when men put their razors away for a month to see who can grow the most impressive facial hair for the purpose of increasing men’s health awareness. Senior Constable De Vries has done Movember a few times and this year encouraged the rest of the station staff to get on board. “Fundraising can be tough, that’s why I think a group approach would be more successful. I believe it is important that men from all walks of life raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular
cancer, and men’s suicide. It is a good, fun way to engage the local community and raise some awareness/funds for a great cause. It further creates powerful
conversations prompting men to take action on what can be a serious/sensitive
topic,” he said. Support their Mo’s at: movember.com/t/cobar-police-whiskers?mc=1
